Ecological networks of species interactions, population dispersal, or individual contacts, are increasingly documented, thanks to new empirical techniques and increased sampling effort. Because of their complex nature, networks lend themselves to a variety of theoretical approaches and have attracted the attention of ecologists, physicists and mathematicians alike. At the crossroads of multiple scientific disciplines, this conference will offer an opportunity for interdisciplinary discussion on the theory underlying the dynamics of ecological networks. The aim of this conference is to bring together specialists from theoretical ecology, physics and mathematics to present the state of the art and open new perspectives in the broad field of ecological network and complex system modelling.
